Sportgroßveranstaltungen

There are many stakeholders behind a sports event who influence and contribute to it. Organizers are faced with the task of ensuring the success of the event as well as satisfying the wide variety of social, cultural and ecological demands on such an event – a true management challenge! The goal of successful sustainability management is the integration of economic, ecological and social challenges into a customized overall concept. This demands a great deal of experience, significant planning and cross-disciplinary work.

For large sports events, environmental management and quality management systems are increasingly used to control measures and as “proof of continuous improvement”. But even without such systems, controlling and documenting sustainability efforts is recommended so that the insights gained from practical experience may be used to continuously improve the events.
